Recfilms has released the official teaser for OBITUS, an upcoming Azerbaijani survival / parasite-horror feature directed by Revan Jabbarov.
The 105-minute film is in Turkish and is scheduled for theatrical release in Azerbaijan on 19 November 2026.
Set around an isolated community struck by a natural disaster, OBITUS follows survivors whose attempt to escape one catastrophe leads them toward a spreading parasitic threat. The film combines survival horror, body horror and an outbreak narrative, with a focus on isolation, family and the physical cost of survival.
OBITUS was presented at the Cannes Marché du Film in 2026.
The production is currently in final post-production.
