Smear (short film) review

Smear

Kate Herron’s Smear preys on the fear of women going for their first smear test.

What starts off as something quite conventional becomes a very entertaining, if slightly crude body horror.

It’s not for the squeamish but it plays for laughs over trying to terrify us.

Fans of films such as Teeth will appreciate the plot surrounding an evil vagina.

I’m sure there’s plenty of social commentary here but although short Smear is pure fun.
