Film Quest is set to premiere Scarlet Moreno’s new musical horror short Money’s Tight on 24th October 2026.
When her college financial advisor tells cheer captain Carly that she’s on the verge of losing her scholarship to a fellow cheerleader, Carly decides to stay in school the only way she knows how: by killing the competition.
Meanwhile, her older sister Ginger learns that the trailer left to her by her late husband is four payments behind, and she has no idea how she’ll come up with the money before it’s repossessed.
As Ginger watches the parents of a missing girl offer a cash reward on the local news, Carly bursts in, begging for help covering up her heinous mistake.
Together, the sisters hatch a plan to “discover” the body, collect the reward, and turn Carly’s crime into the answer to both their problems.
