Fresh Meat set to premiere at Frightfest

Studio Dome and The Horror Collective announced today that Fresh Meat, the new horror thriller from writer-director Daniel Turres, will celebrate its festival premiere at FrightFest in London before opening in theaters in 2027. The film has been selected to screen as part of the festival’s 2026 lineup, screening Saturday August 29th at 1pm and Monday August 31st at 4pm.

The cast includes Mika Amonsen, who stars as Sean Reagan alongside Donnie Wahlberg in CBS’ Boston Blue and appeared in Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving; Hannah Galway, who stars in the Stephen King adaptation The Institute; Jorja Cadence, whose credits include Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla and the Kiefer Sutherland series Rabbit Hole; and Joelle Farrow, who previously starred in Daniel Turres’ Here for Blood. They are joined by Tyson Wong and Alex Sands.

When a group of internet influencers breaks into an abandoned prison to create their latest viral video, they unknowingly unleash a ravenous inmate with an insatiable hunger. Trapped inside with no escape, the friends must fight to survive as the cameras keep rolling, turning their desperate struggle into the most horrifying content they’ve ever captured.

&Quot;Fresh Meat delivers exactly what horror fans want: great scares, relentless tension, and a timely twist on influencer culture,” said Shaked Berenson, CEO, Studio Dome. &Quot;We’re excited to introduce audiences to the film at FrightFest!&Quot;

Following its FrightFest premiere, Fresh Meat will open in theaters in 2027.
