Former video nasty Mardi Gras Massacre is set for a deluxe blu ray release from 88 Films on 27 June 2022.
Mardi Gras Massacre, released in, it is written and directed by Jack Weis.
It is known as a loose sequel to the 1963 film Blood Feast, directed by the legendary Herschell Gordon Lewis.
The plot follows a serial killer roaming the streets of New Orleans, Louisiana, sacrificing women to an Aztec goddess.
The film is notable for its reputation as a “video nasty,” having been banned in the United Kingdom upon its release and given an X rating in the United States.
Details on the extras are yet to be confirmed.
