When 20-something-year-old Tanya begins to realize she’s asexual, the highly charged sexualized world she lives in as an actress and partner begins to fall apart and feels more and more like an unbearable nightmare.
2 Weeks is at times a really intense drama, very much questioning intimacy and its importance in a relationship.
Extremely visually arresting with some surreal elements thrown in, we are plunged into a world of self doubt and paranoia, as Tanya struggles with her a-sexual identity.
A very raw and gripping short with an excellent central performance from writer Margarita Zhitnikova.
2 Weeks screened as part of the Soho Horror Film Festival – Pride Edition.
