Asking for a Friend review (Soho Horror Film Fest – Pride Edition)

What do you do when you arrive at a party and your best friend is cleaning up a dead body? This is the premise for the extremely fun ‘Asking for a Friend’.

We follow the exploits of unlucky Q who is just trying to help her friend and help dispose of the body, when she gets distracted at every turn, whilst trying to keep things under wraps. Just to compound matters she accidentally takes an unidentified drug, and of course, hilarity ensues.

This short is mostly about friendship and the lengths people will go to for their friends, even covering up a potential murder.

Falling very much under the bracket of dark comedy, Asking for a Friend is a really good ride that just felt like it ended slightly too soon.

Asking for a Friend screened as part of Soho Horror Film Festival – Pride Edition.
