The latest novel from Lee Willow attempts to re-imagine the long established lore of the vampire, but if you didn’t know that beforehand you would think it a straightforward drama.
The real action of the story doesn’t really kick in until two thirds into the story which can be enough to lose some readers.
Willow also comes at the story from multiple perspectives but we never really spend much time with each of our protagonists to care enough about their fates. The action once it arrives is quite impressive and gory but its just a shame it comes so late in the game.
The grammar here is also really bad which often takes the reader out of the experience, with a proofreader needed for the next story.
Moonlight Harvest by Lee Willow is released on 4th October 2021.
