Blue Underground have announced that 4K remasters of Maniac Cop 2 and Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence are on the way.
Writing on their Facebook they stated –
“The MANIAC COP 2 4K master is finished. Now in the midst of completing restoration on MANIAC COP 3. New Dolby Atmos mix scheduled for next week. We should have the release date set and final details announced soon. Oh, and work is getting underway for 2 new, unannounced 4K UHD releases!”
Maniac Cop 2 sees Matt Cordell return to wreak more vengeance on the New York City police force, teaming up with the serial killer who is offing strippers. The sequel saw the return of Bruce Campbell and Laurene Landon plus the addition of Robert Davi and Leo Rossi.
Badge of Silence sees a voodoo priest resurrect Cordell once more and carry out his deadly bidding.
