Brand new slasher Scream Bloody Murder, directed by Shawn C. Phillips is set to start filming this month.
The film’s cast includes Scout Taylor-Compton, Robert Lasardo, James Duval, Vernon Wells, Kelly Reiter, and Lauren Francesca.
Pitched as a loveletter to 90s slashers such as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream Bloody Murder will film in Los Angeles following a successful IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign which raised over £48,000 for production costs.
Director Shawn C. Phillips commented,
“The movie will also have elements of films like Mean Girls as well as Revenge of the Nerds. So it will have some humor mixed in as well to the film.”
