The plot synopsis for Black Christmas fan film ‘It’s me, Billy’ has been released.

This new tale is a direct follow-up to the 1974 Bob Clark feature and takes place roughly 50 years later…..

‘Unaware of the danger that’s hunting her, Sam and her two best friends are spending Christmas Eve at her grandmother’s old country mansion.

Stalked by a sinister evil that’s been lurking in the shadows for nearly 50 years, Sam is about to come face to face with her grandmother’s chilling Christmas past, the deranged psychopath known only as Billy.’

The film is directed by voice artist Dave McRae and Bruce Dale with auditions currently underway.

‘It’s me, Billy’ will pay homage to the original by utilizing theater of the mind, suspense, mood and atmosphere. Production plans to shoot in and around Toronto. The film is currently in development.
