Taking a different direction to tell the serial killer tale, My Sister the Serial Killer makes it a family affair.
As the title suggests we follow the sister of a serial killer but what makes this unique is the setting in Africa as we are engulfed into another culture.
Told through a rapid diary setting this is a fast-paced story that really goes into the psychology and lack of empathy a serial killer can possess.
It’s almost as if they don’t understand what they’re doing is wrong and talking sister to sister still doesn’t get through to the killer.
We follow Korede who becomes an unwilling accomplice to these crimes as she struggles with the morals of turning her sister into the authorities.
Ayoola (her sister) also infiltrates more into her life and inner circle making it even more difficult to cover up these crimes.
My Sister the Serial Killer is refreshing and unique and has certainly peaked interest into Oyinkan Braithwaite, here’s hoping the follow up is just as good.
My Sister the Serial Killer is available now in Paperback and on Amazon Kindle.
