We’re delighted to be covering the Saturday programme of Paracinema at Derby Film Festival this coming weekend.
The programme for the day is as follows –
12:30pm – Screening of giallo thriller Death Laid an Egg, including an exclusive introduction by Nucleus Films.
3pm – Borley Rectory – Famed paranormal investigator Harry Price is employed by journalist V C Wall to look into the strange events that are reportedly occurring at a Victorian mansion located in Essex.
With a Q&A with Director Ashley Thorpe afterwards.
6:45pm – All Light Will End (UK Premiere) – Successful horror author Savannah returns to her home town to find dark secrets waiting for her.
7pm – Jubilee – Post apocalyptic thriller featuring Toyah Willcox, who will host a Q&A after the screening.
7:30pm – Nosferatu LIVE at Derby Cathedral – The classic silent horror classic from F.W. Marnau will screen at Derby Cathedral with the live score played out by Richard Hills, Organist of St. Mary’s.
8:45pm – Hippopotamus – Ruby wakes up to discover she is trapped in a basement, her legs are broken and she can’t remember who she is or how she got there.
10:25pm – Song of Solomon – After Mary witnesses the suicide of her father she finds herself in the grip of a savage demonic possession. The church sends priests to attempt an exorcism but perhaps their motives towards the unwitting Mary are not as benevolent as they appear.
