Scottish independent horror author Mark Smith has released his latest audiobook, Why Won’t My Neighbour Stay Dead?, a darkly comic horror adventure now available on Audible. Narrated by Ethan Fifield.
Combining supernatural horror, absurd comedy, and plenty of bloody mayhem, the story follows Samuel, a fake doctor whose biggest problem should be getting caught. Instead, he finds himself in the middle of a horrifying outbreak that is turning his community into blood-drinking nightmares.
To make matters worse, his deeply annoying neighbour refuses to stay dead, no matter how many times Samuel tries to solve the problem. Accompanied by a violence-loving demon who dispenses catastrophically bad advice, Samuel must navigate a supernatural disaster while convincing everyone around him that he knows what he’s doing.
Fast-paced, gruesome, and packed with dark humour, Why Won’t My Neighbour Stay Dead? is a horror-comedy for listeners who enjoy their scares served with a healthy dose of insanity.
This audiobook mixes splatter horror with comedy, creating an unapologetically chaotic and entertaining Halloween nightmare.
