Tickets on Sale for The Influencer Project ahead of October release

Today, Hades Films, Point Neuf and Voltron Global Media announced that tickets are now on sale for the upcoming found-footage horror film “The Influencer Project”, starring UK creator Chiara King in her debut role. Moviegoers can now secure seats for the thriller from the creators behind the “Blair Witch Project” ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, October 2.

Set in Copenhagen, Denmark, King plays a character inspired by real events as she becomes the target of a dangerous online stalker with a sadistic grudge. “The Influencer Project”, from the minds behind “The Blair Witch Project”, Eduardo Sánchez and Gregg Hale, brings the format into the modern social media era, using phones, digital platforms, and online interactions to draw audiences into the escalating danger surrounding King’s character.

“Stepping into this role felt deeply personal for me,” said Chiara King. “I was able to draw from my own experience to bring an honesty to the performance, while also exploring what it means to take back your sense of control. I’m incredibly proud of what we created, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience the film and go on this journey with us.”

The theatrical release also marks King’s first feature-film role, alongside a filmmaking team with deep roots in the found-footage genre. Mike Nybroe directs the film along with  Sánchez and Hale, producing alongside Alex Hertzberg and Ahmet Zappa. Steven Greenberg serves as executive producer. Lars Ap, Anders Jon Petersen, and Nybroe also wrote the film, with DJ White Shadow serving as Composer and Music Supervisor.

“The film unearths, in a very grounded, very visceral way, the horror beneath sharing yourself online,” said Sanchez. “The stalking depicted in the film is something Chiara knows firsthand and that comes across in her performance,” added Hale. “There’s a rawness that brings the threat to life in a completely believable way. It’s terrifying.”

Tickets for “The Influencer Project” are available now for purchase on here as well as other major ticketing platforms and participating theater websites ahead of the film’s October 2 theatrical release, including AMC and Regal .
