Showing this October exclusively on the STUDIOCANAL Presents streaming service – the essential destination for box office hits, critically acclaimed award-winners, lovingly restored classics and must-watch TV series – a George C. Scott ghost story, Hammer Horror classics, an Evil Dead triple-bill, a Stephen King werewolf chiller, and a dark TV drama series.
Here’s the full October lineup:
The Changeling (1980) The great George C. Scott (Patton) stars as a grieving composer who moves into a mansion with a troubled history, in director Peter Medak’s superbly scary psychological horror beloved by Guillermo del Toro and Martin Scorsese.
Frankenstein Created Woman (1967) Baron Frankenstein transfers the soul of an executed young man into the body of his lover, prompting her to kill the men who wronged them, in this lurid Hammer shocker directed by Terence Fisher and starring Peter Cushing.
Silver Bullet (1985) Corey Haim (The Lost Boys), Gary Busey (Point Break) and Everett McGill (Twin Peaks) star in this tremendous adaptation of the Stephen King story, about a boy trying to stop a werewolf rampage in a small town.
Blood From the Mummy’s Tomb (1971) A genuinely entertaining and eerie Hammer treat directed by Seth Holt, starring Andrew Keir (Rob Roy), James Villers (Asylum), and the magnificent Valerie Leon (Carry on Matron) in two roles.
STUDIOCANAL PRESENTS… Serial Killers (2026) Anna Bogutskaya – author, critic, and co-founder of the horror film podcast The Final Girls – looks at what drives our seemingly insatiable addiction to silver screen serial killers.
Fear in the Night (1972) Nightmarish Hammer gem from Jimmy Sangster, starring Judy Geeson (Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush), Joan Collins (Cosh Boy), Ralph Bates (Lust For A Vampire) and Peter Cushing (The Curse of Frankenstein).
Evil Dead (2013) Fede Álvarez’s smash hit 2013 standalone horror sequel, starring Jane Levy (Don’t Breathe) as a recovering addict facing the fight of her life, in a gleefully nasty continuation of the cabin in the woods chiller series.
Evil Dead II (1987) Terrifying, hilarious and gloriously gruesome follow up to Sam Raimi’s legendary 1981 horror classic, with Bruce Campbell returning as Ash, toting a shotgun and a chainsaw to take on the vicious demons. Groovy!
Evil Dead Rise (2023) Seriously scary and unapologetically gory addition to the Evil Dead franchise, written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Mummy), with two sisters battling brutal entities in an apartment complex.
Spotless (2015) 10 episode dark comedy drama series, co-created by Ed McCardie (Shameless) and Corinne Marrinan (CSI), starring Marc-André Grondin (Goon) as the owner of a crime scene cleanup service being forced into business with a mob boss.
STUDIOCANAL Presents is available on Apple TV and Prime Video.
