In Dorothy: The Haunting of Oz, a viral Halloween challenge unleashes the Wicked Witch of the West and Dorothy into a Northern California college town, where a group of basketball players struggle with grief, shattered dreams and devastating injuries that threaten to end their athletic futures.
At the centre of it all is Melanie, a young woman carrying heartbreak and childhood wounds, who finds herself pulled into the centre of the haunting.
What begins as an internet trend quickly turns into a waking nightmare, as the line between memory, fear, myth and the supernatural starts to disappear.
As the curse spreads, Melanie is forced to confront the pain she has spent her life trying to outrun before it consumes everyone around her.
