Amaris International Media and Winter Star Productions announce UFOs and GOD doc release

At a time when governments, military officials, and whistleblowers are acknowledging the reality of unidentified aerial phenomena, a new documentary is asking a deeper and more provocative question: What . . . or who are they?

UFOs and God, an upcoming documentary from filmmakers Wes and Amanda Llewellyn (co-directors and co-writers), in collaboration with bestselling author, Bill Myers, producer Paul Arroyo, and executive producer Derrick Warfel, offers an entertaining, compelling and controversial perspective—that the growing number of UFO sightings and encounters may not be extraterrestrial in origin, but  part of a supernatural reality long described in the Bible.

Slated for release on September 10, 2026 through Vision Films, the film presents a thought-provoking investigation that blends documented UFO cases, credible eyewitness testimony, scientific considerations, and biblical theology.

The film arrives amid a surge in mainstream attention to UFOs, with media narratives often framing them as benign or even benevolent. UFOs and God challenges that assumption head-on, encouraging viewers to reconsider what they believe—and why.

“People are being told these are visitors from other planets—advanced beings to help humanity evolve to the next level,” said film host and co-director Wes Llewellyn. “But when examining the evidence alongside Scripture, you see it’s simply part of an ancient, invisible war continuing since the creation of mankind.”

Co-director Amanda Llewellyn continues, “This weekend, Spielberg’s film, Disclosure Day, asked, ‘What does this do to fundamental religious beliefs? Is our God only the God of this planet?  Should we look to other sources for truth?’ Our documentary seeks to answer these and other questions for people of faith.”

To provide scientific and Biblical answers to the questions church members are asking, the documentary features interviews with astrophysicists Dr. Hugh Ross and Dr. Jeff Zweerink, apologist Greg Koukl, U.S. Navy radar operator and UAPx President Gary Voorhis, theologians, ufologists, former UFO abductees, and everyday people.

In conjunction with the documentary, Warfel is also releasing a companion book, UFOs and God, which expands on the film’s themes in a conversational and accessible format. The book equips readers to understand the phenomenon through a biblical lens and offers practical guidance for spiritual discernment.

With a message aimed at both believers and the spiritually curious, UFOs and God seeks to bring clarity to a topic often dominated by confusion, speculation and sensationalism.

“This isn’t about paranoia of the unknown,” Executive Producer Derrick Warfel added. “It’s about going to the source of truth, the Bible, in a time of increasing confusion.”
