New cast additions added to Kaiju: Island of Fire

Indie horror Kaiju: Island of Fire has announced new cast additions.

The latest round of cast additions to finalise the main cast are Philip Granger (Backrooms, Tucker And Dale vs Evil), Yuki Morita (Godzilla 2014, Shogun), Jason Schombing ( Time Cop, X-Files), Jerry Trimble (Heat, Mission: Impossible: 3), Dylan Schombing (Watchmen, Warcraft), and Seth Whittaker (Batwoman, X-Files).

In the footsteps of the massive international smash that was Godzilla: Minus One comes a new Kaiju!

A combined military task force travels to an ancient Japanese Island, searching for the missing members of a construction team, currently in the process of building a new military base. Once there, they find a foreboding, fiery landscape that hides a terrifying threat, capable of destroying them…and all who venture near.

Written and directed by former Hollywood stuntman turned filmmaker Andrew L. Phillips (World War Z, The Dark Knight Rises, Captain America: The First Avenger). Produced by James H. Christy and Avery Guerra.

Kaiju: Island of Fire also stars Wes Wing (Godzilla: Minus Zero), Tom Constantine (Snake Eyes), Robert Scott Field (Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Hoshi 35) , Tomoko Ai (Terror Of Mecha Godzilla), Chuck Wilson (Godzilla vs King Ghidorah), Masaaki Neguchi, Yoshiro Uchida (Gamera The Giant Monster), Linda Miller (King Kong Escapes, The Green Slime), Carl Craig (Gamera vs Viras), Inge Murata (Shin Godzilla, Monster X Strikes Back) and Kent Gilbert (Godzilla vs King Ghidorah). 

Kaiji: Island of Fire is in production in Japan and set for a 2026 release.
