First look at Dekkoo Films’ Scorch Marks

Dekkoo Films, along with Lonely Spectre Productions and June Gloom Productions, announces that their upcoming LGBTQ+ horror feature-film SCORCH MARKS has completed post-production and is slated for release on streaming in late-September 2026, with limited theatrical engagements yet to be announced.

Waking to find scorched skies and apocalyptic dread looming on the horizon, Beckett now grapples with the chilling reality that he could be the lone survivor of a global catastrophe.

Isolated in a coastal rental, Beckett’s grip on his surroundings begins to unravel, leaving him vulnerable to a vicious haunting at the hands of his abusive ex-husband, Joel.

Together, the couple must navigate their toxic past in high-society in order to survive the imminent dangers of their present, spectral omens, and the arrival of a primordial force from somewhere beyond the scorch marks.

From writer/director Brendan Haley (Eastsiders) and producer Michael Varrati (There’s A Zombie Outside), the film stars Brandon Shypkowski (29 Palms), Chris Salvatore (Eating Out) Vander Von Odd (Season 1 Winner of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula), Fayna Sanchez (Abraham’s Boys), along with industry veterans Peter Stickles (Shortbus) and Tiffany Shepis (Star Trek: Picard). Lending their respective singer/songwriter talents to the soundtrack are artists Thomas Dekker (Kaboom), featuring the song ‘KICKS’ off of his most recent album Serpentine, as well as Sean Doherty (Teeth: The Musical), who pens/performs the original song ‘DEUS EX MACHINA’ commissioned specifically for the film.
