Folk horror The Forbidden Lands has been released on Prime Video (US and UK).
In a remote Southern Italian village, fear spreads after a series of mysterious disappearances in the nearby woods.
When two strangers arrive claiming to be messengers of the Lord, the desperate townspeople see them as saviours, except for one woman, who, with the help of a free-spirited girl and an outcast accused of witchcraft, uncovers a darker truth that lies beyond the edge of the known world.
The film premiered on October 3, 2025, at Teatro Cavallino Bianco in Galatina (Apulia, Italy), to a full house of 500 attendees. It then screened at several international film festivals, receiving an Honorable Mention at the Washington Underground Film Festival and a nomination for Best Horror at the Los Angeles Fantasy Fest. Additional screenings included Bakunawa Fest (Philippines) and Underground Cinema (Ireland). The film is now beginning its distribution on streaming platforms, starting with Prime Video and Relay.
