Cursed surfboard horror Plankenstein released

Killer surfboard feature Plankenstein has been released on Amazon Prime, Tubi, Pluto TV, Fandango, XUMO, Vimeo, and Bloodstream.

In the picturesque beach town of Kailua, Oahu, an ancient Hawaiian curse awakens when a severed foot washes ashore — still attached to a peculiar surfboard with a wild boar’s tusk protruding from its nose. When the board enters a local surf shop’s rental quiver, a chain of horrific events unfolds.

Captain Miller’s stepdaughter Lili, secret heir to the Hawaiian throne, returns home for summer — and Plankenstein, sensing her royal blood, begins a violent rampage targeting anyone who disrespects her.

All victims share one suspicious trait: they ate pork before their deaths.

As the annual Scary Cup Classic surf competition approaches, tensions explode — culminating in a psychedelic
bonfire gone horribly wrong, a pork-fueled massacre at a paddle-out funeral, and a climactic ocean showdown where breaking the curse requires yanking the boar’s tusk from Plankenstein’s nose. The only survivor? The Elder — a vegan.

And the ending will make you think twice before plugging a surfboard ding with a pork rib. (Yes, really.)

After a sold-out red carpet world premiere on Oahu and successful theatrical runs across Hawaii and the mainland, Plankenstein is now streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime, Fandango, TubiTV, PlutoTV, Vimeo, XUMO, and Bloodstream.

The film stars Amy Jennings (A Place Among The Dead), Alex Dayuha (Red One), and introduces Leilani Ramos in a breakout performance.

Made entirely with local Hawaiian talent, the film weaves ancient curses, royal lineage, and modern surf culture into a blood-soaked love letter to both horror cinema and the islands.
