We have seen from franchises such as The Conjuring, that mysterious and vintage items are never good news in a horror film.
So we come to Buried Hatchet Productions’ latest short The Milkman, which sees a man acquire a vintage toy that unleashes the vengeful spirit of the titular Milkman.
In this instance though, the Milkman was driven out of his town after being accused of poisoning the milk, and after falling to his death, his spirit now haunts this toy.
Director Vincent Dormani uses the method of stop motion to help get around budgetary constraints to tell a rich mythical tale with some genuine suspense.
Who would have thought you could make a Milkman terrifying?
