After a man unexpectedly finds a woman collapsed in the woods nearby his home, he takes her in and well…chaos predictably descends.
He is extremely socially awkward and not used to having people around and seems haunted by a previous trauma.
We find out the girl got lost in the woods after visiting her grandfather (played by Art Hindle), but we slowly find out there is more to her than we thought.
Woodland Grey is ultimately about survival but not in the way you expect, plus it is a strange film, but in a good way.
It has a real slow burn quality to it, which won’t please everyone but it does play with bold ideas and attempts to do something different with its setting, which we as horror fans know has been played to death.
Woodland Grey plays as part of Grimmfest Easter.
