The TV series adaptation of popular 90’s slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer is set to start filming in Oahu, Hawaii on 25th January 2021.
The filming schedule for the Amazon Prime series, which starts in January and is set to conclude on 13th May 2021.
Sara Goodman (Preacher) has penned the series after it was originally rumoured to be Shay Hatten with James Wan reportedly directing the 8 episode season.
Amazon Studio’s COO and Co-Head of Television Albert Cheng added,
“The best horror franchises always have another scare coming, and this I Know What You Did Last Summer series from Sara Goodman is a perfectly twisted update to the iconic slasher movie.”
This modern take on the 1973 novel by Lois Duncan, the story will follow a group of teenagers from a small town who are stalked by a killer after covering up a fatal accident on their graduation night a year ago.
No casting news has been announced for Amazon’s I Know What You Did Last Summer series.
