Jinga Films announces ‘Beast Within’

Jinga Films is pleased to announce that it has boarded werewolf creature feature BEAST WITHIN for International Sales.

Steven Morana (Whiskey Business) and Holly Deveaux (The Mist) star as a young couple attending the launch party of their gaming app Werewolves Awaken, but when a guest is brutally murdered everyone becomes a suspect and player in a deadly real-life version of the game.

Steven Morana who co-directed with Chris Green (Zombie Werewolves Attack) and co-produced with Nic Izzi (1BR) plays the timid tech genius turned action hero and his martial art background contributed to him doing all his own stunts during the confrontation with the werewolf.

Other ensemble cast members include Colm Feore (Thor), Ari Millen (Orphan Black), Alysa King (Slasher), Supinder Wraich (The 410), Art Hindle (Invasion of the Body Snatchers) and Katie Boland (The Bet).

The gore and creature scenes were crafted by award-winning The Butcher Shop FX Studio and the soundtrack contains music by rising hip/hop star Arya Safakish (aka Afta Hill and Safakash).

“Beast Within is a classic whodunit mystery thriller in the vein of Knives Out” said Jinga’s Julian Richards. “Throw a werewolf into the mix and it has all the ingredients necessary to be a hit amongst genre fans.”

Executive Producers are Amy Williams (Rock, Paper, Scissors) Spero Stamboulis (Warning Shot), and Bruno Marino (Gridlocked).

A Build Character production in association with Little Axe Productions and High Star Entertainment, Beast Within was released in North America on September 8th by Stonecutter Media.
