Dead of Night (short) review

By Daniel King

An intriguing short from director Rae Martin Stump who builds the tension nicely through the inventive use of sound and setting.

In a bog-standard office, John comes into work and soon begins to suspect something is amiss because he can’t find any of his colleagues.

A simple premise but one that leads to a surprising but satisfying conclusion.

The budget limitations are there for all to see but despite that this short really works.
