Grimmfest TV has added shorts The Disappearance of Willy Bingham and Fierce to their channel.
The Disappearance of Willie Bingham is a controversial exploration of judicial cruelty and the human capacity for vengeance.
In this imagined world, progressive amputation is a punishment for a capital crime, performed live in front of the victim’s families.
The channel is also excited to add the brutally graphic animated short film, FIERCE, which had its UK premiere at Grimmfest in 2017.
Fierce imagines an extreme team-building exercise, that pits a young corporate executive against his colleagues and the elements; with bloody consequences.
Grimmfest Festival Director Simeon Halligan commented,
“If you love horror movies and enjoy short films then Grimmfest TV is for you. We continue to hand-pick a fine selection of movies from the Grimmfest archive and bring them online, where everyone can enjoy them for free while in lockdown. There’s some really cool award-winning indie horror and fantasy films available right now and we urge you to check them out.”
With over thirty short films and ten feature films available already, GRIMMFEST TV is expanding quickly as we add new content every week, with an aim to build a comprehensive platform of genre content that will complement the main film festival, Grimmfest, now in its twelfth year.
