The Man Who Killer Hitler and Then The Bigfoot review

You’d think with a title like this that you wouldn’t need to explain the plot but The Man Who…. is a fascinating journey.

We follow the journey of Calvin a former service man called back into action to take down a mythical beast.

Sam Elliot puts in a career best performance which feels like the story of an ageing hero. This is as much about loss as it is about combat.

The action is held back as we follow Calvin’s gut wrenching journey which makes his confrontation with the Bigfoot all the more poignant – it feels like fate.

This is a dramatic piece that will pull your heart out and stamp on it before giving Calvin closure.

This film wowed audiences at Arrow Video FrightFest and it’s easy to see why.

Not essentially a horror film but The Man Who…. is a glorious piece of cinema that you will feel better for seeing.
