Actress Madeline Smith set to attend Science of Cinema event

The team behind the Bottle Smoke Film Festival have announced a screening of Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell; with actress Madeline Smith set to attend.

Science of Cinema takes place on Saturday 9th March, with Smith available for autographs as well as a Q&A about the film and her career, which included starring in Live and Let Die and Eureka.

Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell starred Peter Cushing and centred around Baron Frankenstein working with a mental patient to reanimate the dead and also starred Darth Vader actor David Prowse as the Monster. This was the final Hammer Frankenstein film.

The event at Staffordshire University’s Science Centre is aimed at inspiring the next generation of filmmakers, and will also include appearances from –

Ronnie Le Drew, Peter Tindall, Ramsey Campbell, Lisa Tuttle, James Hughes and Barry J Purvis.
