In the second part of Life During Wartime our trio of scouser misfits are given a difficult choice after Butty’s old friend Mab has a few skeletons in the closet.
Although we have the usual comedic moments, mainly from 80’s Dave, there is a darker edge to this episode and hints we are getting closer to finding out the truth about the zombie apocalypse that has engulfed Runcorn (and the rest of the world).
Some will consider this episode a make or break in terms of the plot going forward, but it certainly offers something new and only time will tell if the narrative decisions are worthwhile.
