Every now and then you just need a basic slasher film to satisfy our lust for gore and WTF! is definitely one of those sort of movies.
Admittedly the plot in parts is threadbare but it does create some decent, original kills and also tries to do something a little different with its killer, which I won’t spoil.
The premises is quite simple as a group of friends, including Rachel who three years prior survived a massacre of all her friends, something she pretty much neglects to tell her new batch of buddies.
If you want to have even more fun with this film you could play a drinking game and take a drink everytime a character mentions the phrase ‘Spring Break’, trust me you will be sozzled by the midway point.
Perez Hilton turns up in a cringeworthy cameo but this can’t spoil what is a throwaway fun time horror.
WTF! won’t be challenging the Ghostfaces and Jason Voorhees’ of the slasher world anytime soon, but it’s plenty of gory fun and sometimes that’s all you need.
