Have you ever wondered wha human flesh tastes like? Yeah me neither……
Well for those of you getting those withdrawals after the cancellation of Hannibal, new indie horror The Young Cannibals will satisfy your cravings.
The film centres on seven young friends who summon a monster when they are tricked into eating burgers made of human flesh.
The Young Cannibals was written and directed by Kris Carr & Sam Fowler, and produced by Charlie Pride.
Despite many people advising against it, Sam, Kris & Charlie set out to make a feature film immediately after graduating from University, and not stop until it was finished.
Their ambition was to follow in the footsteps of some of their biggest filmmaking influences, directors such as Sam Raimi, Robert Rodriguez, Edgar Wright and Peter Jackson.
They achieved this by enlisting the help of thirty of their fellow film school graduates as crew.
Together they endured weeks of filming in freezing temperatures, torrential rain, an actual tornado in Snowdonia and relentless snow in the French Alps, blowing-up two cars (on film) in the process.
