Jump forward over 2000 years and we are given a documentary on today’s Osiris, he’s a guy in America who has a commune based on those Egyptian teachings and a whole lot more other associated cult going ‘s on. Lost souls from college campuses and people looking for another purpose in life fall under the spell of Osiris and relocate to his commune. Each member adopts the name of an Egyptian God and goes about their daily business of building a tomb on the grounds of their new home to go into the afterlife.

This documentary has insights from Satis, Nephythys, Bastet and Basta all telling of life before the arrival of a newcomer and then the aftermath of his arrival. The new member Anubis never leaves the side of Osiris. Osiris and Anubis go hiking in the mountains, Osiris does not return, this leaves Anubis as the unelected leader and the collective diminishes due to his style of leadership.

The documentary stops and we are introduced to its maker Keith who faces the camera and opens his heart letting the viewers know that he has an interest in the collective, mainly due to the fact his girlfriend Maddie dumped him to join the Egyptian way of life or afterlife. as he was dumped by Maddie who joined the Osiris collective. Our intrepid documentary maker gets a golden ticket, an invite from Anubis himself to go to the commune.
