B-Movie TV is proud to announce that Mario Cerrito’s notorious Human Hibachi franchise will serve as the centerpiece for the network’s first-ever Easter Weekend Premiere event this Easter Sunday.
As streaming platforms pivot toward high-budget, “flavor of the month” content, B-Movie TV is doubling down on raw, transgressive cinema.
Programming Director Hart D. Fisher selected Cerrito’s work for its bold approach to one of horror’s most difficult sub-genres.
“Cannibalism is a tough genre to get right,” said Fisher. “Mario Cerrito nails it. Hell, unlike the direct-to-streaming folks, Mario did it before the email bombshells about celebrities eating children hit the net. It makes it the perfect triple threat for our first Easter Weekend Premiere.”
The event marks a major milestone for the network as it prepares for a massive digital relaunch. Fans can expect a weekend dedicated to the visceral, found-footage storytelling that has made Human Hibachi a modern underground cult classic.
Limited edition Human Hibachi, B-Movie TV, and American Horrors coffee cups, t-shirts, and apparel are available now at the official online shop.
