The 16th annual Telluride Horror Show will once again transform the remote mountain town of Telluride, Colorado, into a three-day celebration of all things horror. Taking place Oct. 10-12, 2025, this year’s festival features a potent lineup of anticipated genre movies, in-person filmmaker appearances, celebrated guest authors and unforgettable horror experiences – all set against the dramatic backdrop of the San Juan Mountains.
A major highlight of the 2025 program is DUST BUNNY, the long-awaited feature directorial debut from visionary creator Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies). Fuller will appear in person for the Colorado Premiere of his dark fantastical film starring Mads Mikkelsen, which follows a 10-year-old girl who hires her hitman neighbor to kill the monster she believes ate her family.
Also making its Colorado Premiere is SHELBY OAKS, a chilling supernatural mystery and NEON Spotlight selection from writer-director Chris Stuckmann. The highly anticipated debut feature follows a woman’s obsessive search for her missing sister, leading to terrifying discoveries at the hands of an unknown evil.
The festival will mark a homecoming for the Adams Family – Telluride Horror Show alum Toby Poser, John Adams and Zelda Adams – who return with MOTHER OF FLIES, their fourth feature to screen at the festival. Known for their unique brand of atmospheric, emotionally grounded horror, the Adams Family continues to push genre boundaries with deeply personal and haunting DIY filmmaking.
The festival also presents an advance screening of three episodes of Season 2 of The Creep Tapes. Telluride Horror Show continues its long-standing love for Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass, having previously screened CREEP, CREEP 2, and three episodes of The Creep Tapes (Season 1). The new season, which premieres November 14, 2025 on Shudder and AMC+, dives deeper into the found-footage mythology of a serial killer, unearthing more disturbing video tapes.
Beyond the screen, the festival is proud to welcome a stacked slate of guest authors, including Grady Hendrix, Stephen Graham Jones, Sarah Langan, Daniel Kraus, Paul Tremblay and Jeremy Robert Johnson, whose works have reshaped modern horror literature. Authors will participate in Creepy Campfire Tales, the annual Horror Summit, and signings throughout the weekend.
Legendary film producer Jon Davison (RoboCop, Starship Troopers) returns as the Vault Keeper, hosting six classic horror films on glorious 16MM as part of the beloved Horror Vault program. And Meredith Borders, senior editor at FANGORIA, returns as Guest Host, bringing her deep genre knowledge to the festival stage.
The Horror Show is excited to bring these anticipated movies up the mountain to Telluride, where fans, filmmakers and creators will gather for what has become one of the most immersive and highest-attended genre film events in the country. In addition to its signature screenings and conversations, the festival also hosts various events and parties across the town of Telluride all weekend long. With atmospheric venues, stunning scenery and a carefully curated program, the Telluride Horror Show continues its tradition of delivering a horror adventure at high altitude.
