Horror Sci-Fi Marshmallow wins big at Panic Fest

Marshmallow, the horror sci-fi film produced by Hemlock Circle Productions, won big following an early film screening at Panic Fest ahead of the movie’s upcoming premiere on 11 April 2025.

At a secluded summer camp, Morgan, a shy and introverted 12-year-old, is thrust into a living nightmare when a legendary campfire tale becomes real.

As a mysterious figure begins stalking the camp, Morgan and his newfound friends must embark on a perilous journey that will force them to confront their deepest fears and question the very nature of their existence.

Following the audience voting, Marshmallow took home both the Best Director for Feature Film and the Best of Fest at the horror-centric film festival!

In addition to this milestone win, the film has also been awarded Best Director for Feature Film for the outstanding work of visionary director Daniel DelPurgatorio.

The film’s gripping storyline and spine-chilling atmosphere have set it apart as a standout entry at one of the world’s most anticipated genre film festivals.
