Award-winning director Jenn Wexler choose horror favourites on Arrow

This month on ARROW, Jenn Wexler – the writer/director of the SXSW-nominated punk slasher The Ranger and boarding school horror The Sacrifice Game (Fantasia Film Festival Audience Award Winner) – picks films from the ARROW catalogue that have nestled their way into her dark little heart and refused to let go.

Jenn’s recommendations include the terrifying J-horror Noroi: The Curse, the supernatural tale The Deeper You Dig and Abel Ferrara’s vampiric cult classic The Addiction.

“My ARROW picks span genres, countries, decades – you know how there are some movies that worm their way into your brain, stick with you, and pull you back again and again? It could be because of an amazing image, a creepy concept, an incredible kill, a breathtaking performance, or a certain something you just can’t find the words for but you know after viewing it that it’s changed the very core of your being.’’ Jenn Wexler commented.

What are ARROW Selects? If you need a steer on what to watch, one of your best-loved cult film directors or stars can help (and also has plenty to say about their choices).

So, if you’ve ever wondered what Eli Roth, Edgar Wright, The Adams Family, Adam Green, Mick Garris, Don Coscarelli, Joe Dante, Benson & Moorehead, or Roger and Gala Avary’s favourite films on ARROW are, then dig into Selects for all that and more!

Jenn Wexler Selects will be available to stream on ARROW from 21st February.
