Lightbulb Film Distribution have announced that Street Trash, directed by Ryan Kruger, will be released in UK cinemas from January 10.
The feature is a reimagining of the 1987 cult horror-comedy of the same name. Kruger previously directed Fried Barry.
A group of misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Street Trash to audiences in the UK & Ireland. Kruger’s new film is just as gloopy and depraved as the original, and the social commentary is arguably even more relevant today,” commented LFD Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson.
Street Trash will be released in select UK cinemas from 10 January 2025, and on Digital & Blu-ray from 17 February 2025.
