It’s almost spooky season! With October right around the corner, Airbnb compiled some hauntingly good listings and cities guaranteed to give guests chills this Halloween.

When it comes to cities, there’s no shortage of spine-tingling destinations. Whether looking for a city known for witches or a city known for being the oldest in the US, travellers are guaranteed to have a frighteningly fun time.

• Salem, MA
  • Salem is known for the infamous Salem witch trials which took place in 1692. Every October, Salem is filled with Halloween enthusiasts who want to explore the historical sites. The Henry Derby House listing is located there.
• Penetanguishene, Ontario, CA
  • Penetanguishene has many travelers visiting each year to stay at the haunted historic Beck House (The Haunted House Apt 301) which was built in 1885.
