Slasher Universe Book Series announced at San Diego Comic Con

THE SLASHER UNIVERSE BOOK SERIES, a horror novel set in the 1970s, will be attending San Diego’s Comic-Con for the first time in the Small Press Pavilion.

“I am beyond excited to launch THE SLASHER UNIVERSE BOOK SERIES at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con,” says writer and creator Todd Nunes. “Our indie horror film ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE was so well received that I knew our fans would relish an interconnected world set in the gritty 1970s with plenty of gore and terror that jumps off the page.”

DEATH WARD 13 is the chilling cornerstone of the Slasher Universe book series. This sinister tale introduces a macabre cast of characters that will haunt future novels, including CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRLS VS INBREEDS, and THE DUKE. Set against the turbulent backdrop of America in the 1970s, a decade drenched in sexual liberation and serial killers, this series plunges into a world twisted by violence and psychopaths. Here, cultural upheaval, the Civil Rights Movement, and the dawn of a social revolution meet head-on with evil incarnate, creating a relentless march toward carnage and chaos.

These interconnected novels can be enjoyed as standalone stories or as part of a running storyline, leading up to a triumphant and thrilling conclusion with terrifying villains and heroic Final Girls. The body count is high, and the terror is relentless in a universe where not even your worst nightmares have prepared you for what’s around the next, dark corner.

Created from the twisted mind of award-winning indie horror writer/director TODD NUNES, the books will be available along with horror merchandise.

The first book, DEATH WARD 13, has gotten rave reviews on Amazon and the just-released second book, CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRLS VS INBREEDS is getting strong early reviews.

Available in digital ($3.99), paperback ($12.99), and hardcover ($21.99) on Amazon.com.
