To those of us ‘on the other side of the pond’, Canada, especially in the past 8 years, has seemed like the good brother compared to the chaotic United States, but is this opinion correct?
Vincenzo Nappi’s short Oh…Canada (akin to their national anthem) is a humorous and musical look at Canada through an almost satirical lens.
Playing like a cheap public service video, Nappi is here to have some fun while also sprinkle in some horror for good measure.
Oh…Canada plays on stereotypes associated with Canadians, which hopefully they can laugh at or they could find this mildly offensive.
Nappi’s short is a delightful and blood-soaked dark comedy, which certainly make you think slightly different of Canada before your next visit.
