Actress Faith Monique will have come to the attention of UK genre fans, with a star turn in Dark Temple Motion Pictures’ exploitation film Death Ranch, and now she’s back with another horror feature – Night Harvest.
Faith has reteamed with Steeds for a slasher-fuelled folk horror which is set for release later this year.
We caught up with Faith to find out more about Night Harvest –
You worked with Director Charlie Steeds on Death Ranch, when were you first approached about Night Harvest?
I received an email from Charlie asking me to audition for the role of Kristen. He informed me that he had been auditioning many Actresses but none of them were connecting with this character. I was more then happy to audition for this role! Having worked with Charlie previously in “Death Ranch”, I wanted to work with him again.
What was the pitch like?
Charlie explained who Kristen was and I instantly fell in love with her character. He let me know that this project would film in towns near Nashville and explained how long the shoot would be. I was very excited to join the team to make a great movie!
What can you tell us about your character Kristen?
Kristen is in the military and she’s at a crossroads in her life. She loves her brother so much and will do anything to protect him at all costs. Family is absolutely first for her and she won’t let anything stop her from being there for them.
Night Harvest feels like a slasher combined with folk horror, would that be accurate?
That is a great description of Night Harvest! It’s definitely a combination of both genres!
What can you tell us about the shoot?
The shoot was extremely tough! We encountered obstacle after obstacle after obstacle. At one point, we weren’t 100% sure if this movie could be completed! It got that tough! But, we made it through and the movie is amazing! We all persevered, never gave up, and were resilient throughout all of the hardships that came our way!
How different was your experience from Death Ranch?
The greatest difference is that Death Ranch was an extremely easy and smooth shoot! But as far as the experience, it was still absolutely epic! Yes, Night Harvest was a struggle, but at the same time, it was one of the most incredible filming experiences I’ve ever had. We have a great Director in Charlie Steeds! He keeps us all calm and makes sure we are all ok. He’s the best!
Can we expect plenty of blood and guts or is this more of a restrained affair?
Oh yes, lots of blood and gore! Not so much guts, but I can’t say why…I don’t want to give too many spoilers!! Haaaaa!
Are you a fan of horror films?
I am actually NOT a horror movie fan, but I absolutely LOVE making horror films!! Sorry for this unpopular answer from a horror actress. Handling the fake blood, guts, gore, etc is super fun to me!! Watching it in other movies…not my favourite!!!
What can you tell us about your upcoming feature The Art Collector?
The Art Collector” is a really fun upcoming feature film that we filmed where I live in Huntsville, Alabama! I have a supporting role in this film where I had so much fun using a SOUTHERN ACCENT! Talk about an amazing experience! This film will most likely release in 2025…I’ll keep you updated!
Look out for more news on the release of Night Harvest in the coming months.

Thank you for the interview, Bloody Flicks!!! You rock💯💯
