Horror-themed bar Merlin’s set to open in Birmingham

Merlin’s, an innovative new venue, by horror loving couple Martin Fox and Ella Tuta, that seamlessly blends the worlds of fantasy and horror, is set to open its doors in the heart of Birmingham City Centre in just eight weeks.

This eagerly anticipated launch promises to offer a spine-tingling experience like no other, captivating guests with its unique atmosphere and exceptional offerings.

Located at Martineau Place, Corporation Street, Birmingham, Merlin’s is not your typical café, restaurant, or bar. Inspired by the realms of Wednesday Addams, Stranger Things, Beetlejuice and other iconic horror films and characters, Merlin’s delivers an immersive experience designed to thrill and delight visitors of all ages.

The ground floor café and restaurant will serve an array of unique dishes from its own Hell’s Kitchen, catering to families and individuals alike. Upstairs, the first-floor bar and cocktail lounge will offer a devilish dash of theatre and a bewitched fog-filled atmosphere for adults, becoming an over-18s-only space after 6 PM with played and live music until 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Merlin’s is more than just a place to eat and drink; it’s a spine-tingling experience that will leave you wanting more”, said Martin Fox, Founder and Director of Merlin’s.

Martin continues “We wanted to create a venue that transports our guests into a world of fantasy and horror, where every visit is filled with excitement and intrigue. From our unique themed menu offerings to our creatively chilling themed décor, every detail at Merlin’s has been carefully crafted to provide a positively horrifying experience.”

Merlin’s is poised to become a must-visit destination in Birmingham, attracting both locals and tourists with its unique dark and eerie concept and engaging atmosphere. As the opening day approaches, excitement continues to build, and the team at Merlin’s is ready to welcome guests into their world of fantasy and horror.  Enter if you dare…
