Genre creatives are always looking for ways to think outside the box.
This could be alternative takes or designs of classic genre imagery or text.
Jack’s Gold Room is a fairly new website which gives visitors the chance to jump inside a classic picture and immersed themselves in something classic, such as the iconic photo from Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (as seen above).
What the designer has done is used a pre-existing photo and seamlessly added me into the photo behind Jack Torrance in the Overlook Hotel.
The turnaround time on this was within a couple of days and as stated the quality is excellent. These sorts of photos will make great gifts for avid horror fans who are after something a bit more bespoke.
The site is currently offering three different kinds of photos with plans to expand in the near future having serviced nearly 400 customers already.
