Let’s be frank, working in customer care can be a rough job.
People air all of their grievances to you, and a lot of the time they aren’t that polite about it.
But what of the people who work in the thick of it, day in and day out?
Short film Florence in Customer Care, aims to give us some perspective, with some caveats.
Florence is having a bad day, with annoying customers just the start of her woes, her boss wants her to wear her ‘Most Improved Customer Care Representative’ t-shirt…
This is an interesting character study, as we see the cracks start to appear in Florence, as she tries to navigate dating, and also how her life isn’t going the way she wanted it to.
There is a level of catharsis here which shows there can be some hope, even when it feels like you’ve hit a dead end.
