New American independent psychological horror Listen Carefully, is set for its world premiere at Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival this April.
When troubled assistant bank manager Andy McNeary’s baby daughter goes missing, he must follow instructions from a mysterious voice on the other end of a baby monitor to save her before she disappears forever.
Ryan Barton-Grimley (Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers, The Truth) stars as Andy McNeary alongside co-star/producer Simone Barton-Grimley (Elijah’s Ashes) as Abby McNeary and co-star/producer, Ari Schneider (Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers, Elijah’s Ashes) who plays The Voice in LISTEN CAREFULLY. They are joined by frequent collaborators Audrey Haworth (production designer), David Rickabaugh (art director), and Sean Ayers (cinematographer). The film is being repped by Glen Reynolds of Circus Road Films.
Fantaspoa, the International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre, was created in 2005 as a trailblazing festival aimed at showcasing fantastic films in Brazil. The festival is widely regarded as Brazil’s finest platform for showcasing exceptional films in the fantastic genre. Fantaspoa is the only South American festival to become a member of the Méliès – European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (EFFFF). The Méliès Federation brings together the 25 most significant fantastic genre film festivals worldwide.
