Winners of the Bloody Flicks Awards 2024 announced

Following the conclusion of the fourth annual Bloody Flicks Awards, which took place at the Brampton Museum last month, winners have been announced.

Votes were collated from attendees on the day and cross-referenced with our judging panel.

Here are the winners of the five categories:

Best Film – The Ceremony (Dir. Connor Hall)

Best Foreign Film – Sincopat (Dir. Pol Diggler)

Best Director – Adam Kirkey (Greed & Gore)

Best Music – The Haunted Baby Carriage From Hell

Best Actor/Actress – Joseph Mydell (NZU)

Bloody Flicks Festival Director Paul Downey commented,

“Firstly, I would like to thank every filmmaker who supported our independently run film festival. It was a fantastic day at the Brampton Museum recently.

“The feedback from the day has been fantastic and all of the categories were wildly competitive which just shows the quality of the programme we put together.”
