There’s No Such Thing As Zombies hits streaming worldwide

DIY zombie love triangle feature, There’s No Such Thing as Zombies has been released on streaming platforms.

Being the brainchild of renowned Austrian horror writer Michael Haberfelner, who also shared production duties with his director Eddie Bammeke and leading lady Luana Ribeira, the movie was filmed by an all-British crew and mostly Brit-cast in Yorkshire, Essex, and London, over the course of two years, which also produced the multiple award winning proof-of-concept standalone short Talk of the Dead.

There’s No Such Thing as Zombies revolves around a love triangle between a woman (Luana Ribeira), her husband (Rudy Barrow), and her ex (Rami Hilmi) – only one of them is a zombie. It’s a bit as if George A. Romero directed “Casablanca of the Living Dead” – in colour.

Besides the three mentioned above, the film also stars US-horror legends Lynn Lowry (The CraziesShivers) and Debra Lamb (Beverly Hills VampWild at Heart), as well as British up-and-comers Scott Hillier, Rachel Brownstein, Alexander Fernando, Paul Sutton, and Martina McClements, with popular trance vocalist Marcella Woods turning in a rare appearance.

Originally a work-for-hire that almost didn’t get made when the original producer, leading lady, and director quit the project, There’s No Such Thing as Zombies soon became a passion project for writer Michael Haberfelner.
