Jinga Films is pleased to announce the North American release of Paul Wilkins supernatural thriller THE GHOST WRITER which opens in USA and Canada today through Dark Sky Films.
Luke Mably (28 Days Later) stars as a struggling author who plagiarises his dead father’s unpublished novel unleashing demons that will haunt him to his grave.
The film which also stars Robert Portal and Andrea Duck, explores grief, father-son relationships and the grey area between supernatural and psychological horror.
Written by Guy Fee and Paul Wilkins and produced by Nigel Galt and Paul Wilkins for Starfish Films THE GHOST WRITER was filmed in the UK’s rural Cotswolds before its world premiere at London’s FrightFest. International festival selections include Fantasporto, Dublin Horrorthon, Dead Lake and Prague Independent Film Festival where Luke Mably won the award for Best Actor.
THE GHOST WRITER has also been acquired for distribution in Latin America (Encripta) and Spain (Wild Duck).
